Yes. Basic cover is included in the rental quote, but should the vehicle be stolen or damaged in an accident, or a third-party loss occurs, you’ll be liable to pay up to the Rental Vehicle Excess amount as per your Alamo Rental Agreement. The excess refers to the amount renters are liable for before the basic cover applies and the amount of this excess can vary depending on the type of vehicle, the age of the renter, and a number of other variables. Alamo also offers a collision damage waiver at the desk when you collect your car. A paid add-on, this can reduce your financial liability in the event of you having an accident or your hire car being damaged, however please read their Terms and Conditions to find out what is and isn’t included with their damage waiver. Prosura, available for purchase at the time you book your hire car through VroomVroomVroom, offers comprehensive coverage at a reasonable cost.
Yes. Alamo includes roadside assistance for all mechanical defects not resulting from human error or misuse of the rental vehicle. Alamo offers coverage for more comprehensive roadside assistance as an additional fee-based service.
