Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, Mike Boyd began his entrepreneurial career early in life. From his first undertaking — selling lost golf balls at the age of eleven — he didn’t look back, going on to co-found no less than seven businesses by the time he turned 25.
Mike’s relationship with VroomVroomVroom began with an advisory role in 2011, from where he quickly spotted untapped potential to scale the business from its startup roots to a global operation. In mid-2012, he became a shareholder and ascended to the CEO role. In 2014, he co-founded Hiccup Insurance, now known as Prosura, our sister business offering rental vehicle excess insurance. Forward thinking and inspired, Mike drives the growth and strategic direction of the Vroom Group, striving to innovate and create more value for our customers everyday.
